LCG EximChem Pvt Ltd is a family-owned business, formed as a result of demerger of the chemical division of R.L. Chemical Industries Pvt Ltd. The group was founded by Ramjilal Gupta, a first generation entrepreneur more than 60 years ago. Initially, the group dabbled in trading of chemicals through its partnership firm Satyanarain and Co. and then ventured into manufacturing at its plant in Ambarnath., with its present customers being most of the major pharmaceutical companies. Around mid-2015, the company decided to venture into micronutrient fertilisers as the opportunity was huge and the sector largely unorganized.
